Note: Anne Bishop's Black Jewels Trilogy are among the best books I have ever read. The author creates new worlds with just vivid description that when I am reading them I desperatly want to be a part of that world.

I'm super excited for the Beautiful Creatures & The City of Bones movie as well. I still have to read Beautiful Creatures, though I've had it on my shelf for a month. Great list!

I am very interested to see what the critics say about the Beautiful Creatures film-I've never read the books so it will be cool to see how it is received among those not familiar with the books vs those who are familiar. I definitely want to work on a list of 2013 releases to post as well.
