It's definitely not my favorite cover but I still like it. Is is supposed to be Lissa on the front? Because her hair looks too light to be Rose.
well, i'm glad they at least darkened her hair (assuming that's supposed to be rose). but otherwise i think it's pretty heinous. the lusty expression on her face does no justice to the content of these books, or to rose's character.
Kelli - I was confused to. In the version I saw previous to the one I posted the hair on the woman looked very blond but the "official release" (the picture I posted) the hair is darkened but still looks much lighter then the dark brown of Rose's hair. I would assume it is Rose but I could very well be wrong!
Jane - I agree! I am not overly impressed with the cover.
It's not one of the better covers that's for sure.
In the pic on Richelle's blog, her eyes look green/grey. I'm guessing it's supposed to be Rose because this is the same model they've used for Blood Promise and Spirit Bound, but it doesn't look anything like her.
@Kelli... Roses hair is long... remember how Dimitri doesn't want her to cut it like all the other female gaurdians... *sigh* Oh Dimitri, you better end up with Rose!
I really don't like it as much as the past covers. I think it's quite a disappointment. I think they should've left the hair lighter because this looks nothing like Rose. If you refer to the first edition SHADOW KISS cover, that is supposed to be Lissa, and this looks nothing like her, either . . . so I don't know. I don't like it much, honestly.
Hayden - I don't like it as much as most of the covers. I didn't really like the first one though either.

It didn't bother me at first, but now that I think about it, this cover doesn't compare to the second or third book covers, which I consider the best covers.
I liked the Original covers of the books! :) They pulled me into the book more, the new covers are nice as well don't get me wrong but I prefer the old ones much more! :)
